High-Intensity-Interval-Training (HIIT)

At Kratos Studios, our routines incorporate hiit in most of our routines.  Hiit stands for High-Intensity Interval Training. It is a form of exercise that alternates short bursts of high-intensity activity with periods of rest or low-intensity activity. The reason we use hiit is to push your body to its maximum capacity, leading to improved cardiovascular fitness, increased endurance, and better calorie burn.

In a typical Kratos Studios HIIT workout, you would start with a warm-up period, followed by a series of high-intensity low impact exercises, followed by a brief rest period. This pattern is repeated several times, with the number of repetitions and the length of the exercises and rest periods varying depending on the specific workout.

The benefits of Kratos Studios HIIT training are due to the intense nature of the workout, which raises your heart rate and increases the demand for oxygen. This leads to an increase in the number of calories burned and a higher rate of fat loss. Additionally, HIIT workouts can be performed in a short amount of time, making it an efficient and effective way to improve your fitness level.

At Kratos Studios we keep in mind that HIIT training can be challenging, we therefore start slowly and gradually increase the intensity and duration of the exercises as you build your strength and endurance. We also make sure warm up properly and cool down after each workout to help reduce the risk of injury.
